2015: A Year in Review

2015 has been a busy year for us, from beginning to end! We kicked off in Daytona, with an EP release and a branded NASCAR XFINITY Series car (Jeremy Clements, Team #51) and will end it at a concert with Gregg Allman at the Atlanta Symphony Hall on New Year's Eve. We filled the days and months in between with a spring and summer full of gigs, nine weeks in studio with Dan "The Man" Hannon starting in August, and then spent the last three months between Tennessee and Georgia, putting miles on the car and really getting a taste for life on the road. (And guess what? We love it.) Read on for a few highlights of our favorite moments in 2015!

In February, we made our first trip to Nashville and fell in love! We've spent more and more time there over the past few months and have yet to find anything we don't like about it.

Shortly after returning from Nashville, we released our EP and got to see our co-branded Jeremy Clements Team #51 NASCAR XFINITY Series car race during Daytona Speedweek 2015. We also joined Jeremy at Halifax Hospital, to spend some time with the patients there and sing for them and their wonderful staff.

At the New Smyrna Beach Balloon & Sky Fest on April 17th, we opened for Jared Blake on the Pub 44 Stage, then got to watch him in concert and meet him afterwards! We hit it off with him immediately and are absolutely convinced he's one of the nicest, most talented people we've ever met.
On May 29th, 2015, we hit 10,000 likes on Facebook! This was such a huge milestone for us, and it was one of the most exciting weeks we've ever had, as we watched the numbers rise in preparation for our first ever live stream show on StageIt, held at the Historic Plant Cafe in Waycross, GA.

We went into studio with producer Dan Hannon (Eldest Only Productions and Recordings) the first weekend of August and had no idea what a journey it would be! We learned so much about ourselves and our music, how to say what we'd been feeling for so long but were unable to verbalize, and left nine weeks later with music that we can't wait to share!
We also had the opportunity to see some of our favorite guys in concert, in Raleigh (5 Seconds of Summer) and Atlanta (Ed Sheeran). It was the perfect way to end weeks of our own studio work, and to feel even more encouraged and inspired than ever!

Talk about a familiar face! On our first trip back to Nashville since February, we went to a party to celebrate Blake Shelton's latest number one, and got to hang out with the man himself! We also met America's Got Talent's very own Benton Blount and saw him in concert at the Wildhorse Saloon.

We played the Alpaha Station Celebration on November 14th and had a blast! It was one of our favorite shows ever, and we can't wait to go back next year.

In December, we were excited to receive invitations to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards, following our membership with the Recording Academy.

Finally, to prepare for kicking off 2016, we filmed our first music video in Nashville! We can't wait to share our new release with you guys, so be sure to "Join the Family" and sign up for the mailing list on www.BEAUandLUCI.tv, and like and follow on all social media (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @BEAUandLUCI).
