Our Winter 2016 Necessities Wishlist

Three of my absolute favorite makeup brands, and some of my all-time favorite products. Any shade of Lime Crime's Velvetines collection will do the job, but as a girl who's partial to purple, Jinx is my first pick. This contour kit by SmashBox is my favorite so far, it's just subtle enough not to seem overkill, but definitely gets the job done. And, of course, you can never go wrong with a black eyeliner pen (or YSL.)
Accessories: Classic gold watch, John Lewis statement bag.
You cannot go wrong with a classic gold watch (like the RUMBATIME) or a fun bag (like the Kin by John Lewis)
Clothing: ASOS Faux-Fur Leopard Print Coat and a comfy sweater in your favorite color!
Life is better in a leopard print coat, like this one from ASOS. Warm, stylish, and fun all at the same time, I won't be leaving town without mine this Winter!
Scent: Chanel No. 5:
Before I bought Chanel No. 5 for the first time, I thought it was overrated and no better than any other perfume - but I was wrong. There's a good reason this classic scent has been around since 1919.
Tech: Mac Pro 15" Laptop:
As far as laptops go, I'd say this is top of the line. I tried for lots of years to avoid getting a Mac computer, but now that I've switched, I can honestly say I understand why they're so popular. Video and photo editing are a breeze now - as well as preparing new blog posts! I never leave town without it.
SGFG is one of my favorite records of 2015 (and by my favorite band, of course!), I've had this on repeat since it's release.

Makeup: Nars VIP Red Semi-Matte Lipstick, Kat Von D Ink Liner
There is never a time where a gorgeous red lipstick isn't appropriate. Whether it's worn with a little black dress, or jeans and a great jacket, it adds a sense of elegance and confidence; it is firetruck red after all. There's no missing it, especially when combined with the Kat Von D Ink Liner. It's been my go-to when I need a quick, long-lasting look that won't smear or smudge.
Accessories: Everlane The Chunky Wool Beanie, Daniel Wellington 'Classic Sheffield' Watch
Everlane has been one of my favorite brands for years. Between their promise for "radical transparency" in the making and selling of their products and their timeless, high quality basics and accessories, there's no downside! I love everything they make, but for an easy early-morning to late-night look, their Chunky Wool Beanie makes everything look casual and cool. Daniel Wellington watches are the epitome of sleek and minimal, but have such a classic look as well.
Madewell leather jackets are the stuff of dreams: soft, structured, and perfect for every. single. day. I would never take it off. Ever.  Same for this Zady Chunky Knit Sweater. Zady is another brand with a dedication to sustainable, earth-friendly fashion...a "lifestyle destination for conscious consumers."
Travel Gear: Everlane 'The Weekender,' 'The Modern Snap Backpack'
I'll admit it: I just love travel gear, and travel gear from Everlane makes it even better. The Weekender is carry-on size and just right for packing the essentials for a quick trip! The Modern Snap Backpack is lovely for me, since I'm not a fan of carrying a purse. It's just big enough to carry all my necessities without looking like I'm headed to my next class.
Tech: Apple iPad Mini 4
The iPad hardly needs an explanation! It's got all the functionality of a laptop with the easy transportation of a cell phone (plus, it fits perfectly into a backpack or handbag).
